The International Society for Urban Mission is a network whose intention is to collaborate to address the unique challenges rising urban poverty pose to Christian faith and mission. Formed in 2012 in Bangkok, Thailand, ISUM’s purpose is to be a fellowship of urban Christian practitioners, scholars, and leaders committed to seeking God’s Shalom in cities, through active reflection, personal solidarity and creative collaboration. Activities include our bi-annual New Urban World Journal, ISUM Summit for Urban Mission, sharing resources, training and research, and Urban Learning Exchanges. Website: newurbanworld.org
